Bold 'Twins' Baby Blanket
A simple and quick to knit cot blanket for a baby.
Materials Needed:
Approx 8/9 balls of a chunky/bulky weight cotton/acrylic yarn. I used an out of production yarn by Katia in my stash that came in a 100gm ball, approx 85 mts per ball.
You could also use a DK/8ply cotton/acrylic and use 2 strands together and achieve a very similar result.
This is a bit of a quick stash buster.
Colour Way 1
2 1/2 Balls Mid Blue (210 mts)
2 Balls Aqua (170 mts)
2 Balls Green (170 mts)
1/2 Ball Navy (43 mts)
1/2 Ball Ecru (43 mts)
Colour Way 2
2 1/2 Balls Mid Blue (210 mts)
2 Balls Aqua (170 mts)
2 Balls Yellow (170 mts)
1/2 Ball Navy (43 mts)
1/2 Ball Ecru (43 mts)
These blankets were made for twins, so there are 2 colour ways available.
Tension is not critical for this blanket, but it will need to be wet blocked and pulled into shape once knitted to get it to the approximate size.
