Margarita bag (english version)
No flower is the same as another and daisies never go out of style. These two premises inspired me with the Margarita Wallet, a perfect accessory to carry everywhere and complement any outfit. It is a bag that brings color and joy totally to your taste, since here you choose how to combine the shades of the flowers. It is a circular bag, woven from the bottom up.
Building this project involves some intermediate knowledge, as it incorporates colorwork and Tunisian crochet techniques. However, I took great care in detailing the explanations, so that you learn different techniques, enjoy and show off your skills as a weaver.
The Margarita Wallet has a firm and resistant base with a centered single stitch, which also provides a very good finish. In the fabric of the walls, the work in two-color colorwork stands out, with the tapestry technique. This stage allows you to personalize your bag to the maximum, since you can use only two contrasting colors, combine more shades or even develop a fade.
The original proposal includes a very innovative braid in three colors as a closure. Next comes the work of the strap, made in Tunisian crochet. But surprise! You are going to knit this stage with the same tool you used for the rest of the project. The reward at the end of your knitting will not only be a unique, practical and beautiful accessory, but also new knowledge applicable to your future creations.

Difficulty level: Intermediate. The pattern includes detailed instructions, diagrams and supporting videos.

Required techniques: Basic circular crochet stitches, colorwork and Tunisian crochet.

Yarns used:
• CC1 / Cori Cori Worsted Cotton (100% combed cotton), color 002 (Ecru) / 100 grams (3.0 oz) – 170 Meters (186 yards).
• CC2 / Cori Cori Worsted Cotton (100% combed cotton), color 022 (Salmon) / 100 grams (3.0 oz) – 170 Meters (186 yards).
• CC3 / Cori Cori Worsted Cotton (100% combed cotton), color 026 (Coral) / 100 grams (3.0 oz) – 170 Meters (186 yards).

Yarn thickness: Worsted

Crochet required: 3.5 mm.

Other tools and materials: wool needle, stitch markers, scissors, two rotating metal buckles (carabiner style, with approximately two inches available to attach the strap).

Gauge: 19 stitches x 14 rows = 10 centimeters x 10 centimeters (4 x 4 inches approximately).
It is woven in a circular motion, using two strands of different colors. • With one color, make 30C and then work 1PR in the first C to close the work in a circle. • R1: Make 1SC in each C, always hiding the second color. • R2: When you reach the beginning of the round, knit 1PBHT over the first SC of the previous round and hiding the second color. Repeat until finishing the round. • V3 - V18: repeat V2.

Cartera Margarita (versión en español)
Ninguna flor es igual a otra y las margaritas jamás pasan de moda. Esas dos premisas me inspiraron con la Cartera Margarita, un accesorio perfecto para llevar a todas partes y complementar cualquier outfit. Se trata de un bolso que aporta color y alegría totalmente a tu gusto, ya que aquí tú eliges cómo combinar las tonalidades de las flores. Es un bolso circular, tejido de abajo hacia arriba.
Construir este proyecto implica algunos conocimientos intermedios, ya que incorpora técnicas de colorwork y crochet tunecino. Sin embargo, me esmeré con el detalle en de las explicaciones, para que aprendas distintas técnicas, disfrutes y luzcas tus habilidades como tejedora.
La Cartera Margarita cuenta con una base firme y resistente en punto bajo centrado, que además proporciona muy buena terminación. En el tejido de las paredes resalta el trabajo en colorwork a dos colores, con la técnica tapestry. Esta etapa te permite personalizar tu bolso al máximo, ya que puedes usar sólo dos colores contrastantes, combinar más tonalidades o incluso desarrollar un fade.
La propuesta original contempla como cierre una trenza muy novedosa en tres colores. Luego viene el trabajo de la correa, realizada en crochet tunecino. Pero ¡sorpresa! Vas a tejer esta etapa con la misma herramienta que usaste para el resto del proyecto. La recompensa al final de tu tejido no sólo será un accesorio único, práctico y hermoso, sino que nuevos conocimientos aplicables a tus futuras creaciones.

Nivel de dificultad: Intermedio. El patrón incluye instrucciones detalladas, diagramas y videos de apoyo.

Técnicas requeridas: Puntos básicos de crochet tejido en circular, colorwork y crochet tunecino.

Hilados utilizados:
• CC1 / Algodón Cori Cori Worsted (100% algodón peinado), color 002 (Crudo) / 100 gramos (3.0 oz) – 170 Metros (186 yardas).
• CC2 / Algodón Cori Cori Worsted (100% algodón peinado), color 022 (Salmón) / 100 gramos (3.0 oz) – 170 Metros (186 yardas).
• CC3 / Algodón Cori Cori Worsted (100% algodón peinado), color 026 (Coral) / 100 gramos (3.0 oz) – 170 Metros (186 yardas).

Grosor del hilado: Worsted.

Crochet requerido: 3.5 mm.

Otras herramientas y materiales: aguja lanera, marcadores de punto, tijeras, dos hebillas metálicas giratorias (estilo mosquetón, con aproximadamente cinco centímetros disponibles para enganchar la correa).

Muestra de tensión: 19 puntos x 14 filas = 10 centímetros x 10 centímetros (4 x 4 pulgadas aproximadamente).
Se teje en circular, usando dos hebras de diferente color. • Con un color, haz 30C y luego teje 1PR en la primera C para cerrar el tejido en un círculo. • V1: Haz 1PB en cada C, siempre escondiendo el segundo color. • V2: Al llegar al comienzo de la vuelta, teje 1PBHT sobre el primer PB de la vuelta anterior y escondiendo el segundo color. Repite hasta finalizar la vuelta. • V3 - V18: repite la V2.
