Bomb Bag and Bombs Zelda
Here’s a bag full of crocheted bombs just waiting for you to make for you or your character to wield as needed. It includes the instructions for the drawstring bag as pictured plus the bombs.
This pattern is written in English and uses American crochet terminology. It includes lots of photos along with step-by-step instructions.
Materials
Worsted Weight Yarn, Crochet Hooks: 3mm, 3.75mm, 5.5mm, fiberfill, a small piece of plastic canvas or other stiff plastic like from a milk jug to place into the top of the bombs, tapestry needle, straight pins, scissors, skewer for stuffing
Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the bag is about 6” tall and 5” wide at the opening. The bombs measure 3 ¼” tall and 2 ½” across. Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.
Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. You will also be sewing on an applique and using basic embroidery stitches.
