Bombay Sapphire is a classic pullover, designed to showcase a special yarn in a gorgeous color with simple stockinette.

A few details add texture and interest to the design - a scalloped pattern around the neckline gives a Peter Pan effect to the edge of the sweater, and “waves” around the wrists echo this pattern on the arms. Two buttons on the button band add a pop of color, and the fit is easy to modify for your shape in terms of length, width, or sleeve choice. In a bright color, it’s a perfect statement piece, and in a neutral it could go with just about anything.

Bombay is designed for the Plucky Knitter’s light worsted yarns - Primo Worsted and Plucky Sweater. These yarns are just a bit more delicate than your usual worsteds. And they are kind of perfect to wear in a light layering piece - or even against your skin (I have only a tank under this one!).
