Bon Bon Blanket
The Bon Bon Blanket is quite a large baby blanket/throw made from solid granny squares and finished with a pretty bobble edging.
I revised the pattern this year (2021) because I no longer had the original 2015 sample and the yarn used for that sample, Rooster Almerino DK, is now discontinued.
In this revised pattern I give the details for both blankets including yarns used, layouts and options.
Gauge is not critical for this project but squares measure approx. 11cm x 11cm and the final blanket approx. 90cm x 80cm.
For the second sample I used Sirdar Snuggly DK but any DK yarn will work with this pattern.
The pattern comes with full instructions in UK and US terminology as well as all yarn details and some pattern options for the two samples I’ve made (2015 and 2021).
The pattern originally featured in Love Crochet magazine in the UK in 2015 and has been tech edited.
