The Bonbon Bandana cowl uses Tracy Purtscher’s tuck stitch technique found in her book, Dimensional Tuck Knitting. The process is surprisingly simple and can be used to create a variety of textured fabrics. With this pattern, the tuck stitch design reminded me of a crumpled candy wrapper (hence the name!) and, when worn around the neck, creates a lovely, cozy cowl.
