I have recently been making bonding squares for local hospitals. I was only able to find a few patterns therefore I wrote and published this pattern.

Bonding Squares are provided to mums whos babies are in neonatal unit. Each mum gets 2 squares, one is kept with baby and one is kept on mums body. Approx every 12 hours they are swapped. They help mum and baby to bond by smell in cases where they cant physically touch. The squares are made in pairs of any colour.

The gauge is not important in the making of these bonding squares.

The pattern may be used without charge for charity and non-commercial personal use. This pattern must not be used for personal financial gain/profit.
