Bonfire Nights
Have you ever just lost your heart to a yarn, a colour that calls to your soul? This is what happened to me when I saw this jaw dropping gradient. These are my colours! The sheer richness, depth, and beauty of this yarn drew me in and just never let go.
While designing this shawl, I was imagining cool autumn nights by a bonfire, with flames flickering and crackling, the wisp of a breeze that sends the smoke upwards, the sound of leaves crunching underfoot as family approaches.
I can smell the smoke, hear the laughter of family, feel the quietness of the night, and see the millions of stars overhead, there to remind us all to appreciate the little things in life.
Bonfire Nights is a crescent shaped shawl, with texture, easy slip stitches and picot bind off. Perfect to wear in the light winds of autumn. Inspired by colour, designed for fun.
All Homeon15acres Designs are test knitted.
