INSPIRATION AND CONSTRUCTION

This shawl is inspired by the word “bonhomía”, which means simplicity, that I can find in the trees I drew as a child. We can also see this in the laces of the shawl. This design is a triangular shawl, we will use simple techniques such as garter stitch, lace, cables and I-Cord, resulting in a shawl that you can wear whenever you want.

YARN
183 - 200 g / 732 - 800 m / 799 - 874 yds of Fingering weight yarn.

I used two skeins of Soft Sock from Chileknitz 90% SW Merino/ 10% Nylon, “Cirilla” colorway.

I recommend to prefer soft yarns, because being a shawl, it will be used mostly near the neck, where we are much more sensitive to the itchiness of some wools. I recommend to using SuperWash Merino Wool, I used Soft Sock from Chileknitz. Although you can use baby alpaca, yak or low-micron wool in the same way.

Feel free to use the amount of colors and materials you want, if you plan to use more than one color I recommend you to interspersing sections so that they can be marked even more, and in the section of the cable use the most solid or defined color that you have. If you plan to use mohair or lace yarn; I recommend you to use it in sections of “garter stitch”.

ABOUT PATTERN

The pattern is written for people of all levels (beginners - intermediate - advanced), in this you can find support videos for the most difficult parts of knitting or those that you have never known.

For my designs I will use price scales, you can pay what is best for your pocket: I know the reality of different people, so I know that a pattern is sometimes a luxury that not everyone can afford.

Este shawl está inspirado en la palabra “bonhomía”, la cual significa simplicidad, esto lo puedo encontrar en los arboles que dibujaba cuando niño. También podemos verlo en los calados que forma el shawl. Este diseño es un shawl triangular top down (tejido desde arriba hacia abajo), usaremos técnicas simples tales como: punto correteado, calados, elásticos, punto jersey, trenzas y un cordón. Resultando en un Shawl que podrás usar cuando desees.

MEDIDAS FINALES
67,7″ / 172 cm horizontalmente, 30″/ 77 cm verticalmente.

HILADO

183 - 200 g / 732 - 800 m / 799 - 874 yds de hilado de grosor Fingering.

Te recomiendo utilizar hilados suaves, ya que al ser un shawl, este se utilizará mayoritariamente cerca del cuello, donde somos mucho más sensibles al picor de algunas lanas. Te recomiendo utilizar Lana Merino SuperWash, yo utilicé Soft Sock de Chileknitz. Aunque puedes utilizar de igual manera baby alpaca, yak o lanas de bajo micraje.

Sientete libre de utilizar la cantidad de colores y materiales que desees, si piensas utilizar más de un color te recomiendo intercalar secciones para que estas se puedan marcar aún más, y en la sección de la trenza utilizar el color más sólido o definido que tengas. Si piensas utilizar mohair o hilado lace; te recomiendo utilizarlo en secciones de correteado.

ACERCA DEL PATRÓN
El patrón está escrito para personas de todos los niveles (principiantes- intermedios - avanzados), en este podrás encontrar videos de apoyo para las partes más dificiles de tejer o las que nunca habías conocido.

Para mis diseños utilizaré escalas de precios, puedes pagar lo que más se acomoda a tu bolsillo: conozco la realidad de diferentes personas, por lo que sé que un patrón a veces es un lujo que no todos se pueden dar.
