Ever since I designed Josiah’s Hat, I’ve been wanting to design the “Bonnie counterpart.” You pick the width but the brim length and hat height are customizable, whether you like a shorter beanie or a slouchy hat. I’ve made samples in various yarns and I love them all; but my favorites lend themselves to greater stitch definition of the twisted stitches.

The smaller sizes can probably be completed easily with 50g of worsted weight wool but the larger sizes will require additional yardage. It’s always a good idea to have extra yarn around, though!

For example, I was able to make the M and still had enough leftover to make the 0-6 mo size.
