Bonny baby booties
Accessories for babies make great gifts and are quick to knit using small amounts of left-over yarn. These use two shades of DK weight yarn, although you could, of course, knit the whole bootee in the same colour.

Approx 45 (50, 54) m / 49 (54, 60) yds double knitting yarn in colour B for foot

The samples here were made using King Cole Merino Blend DK in shades 46 (Aran) and 1989 (Truffle).
