Who doesn’t love Halloween with all the spooks & ghouls & trick or treating? After fine tuning my letters, it was on the cards that a Halloween decoration would be next,
The letters are knit in chunky chenille yarn – any chunky will do. Audrey 2 is in DK, the bats, pumpkins & ghostie head are all in 4ply. The letters stand almost 30cm tall, so, nice & noticeable. You can, of course scale them down by using thinner yarn, in which case make Audrey in 4ply as well.
Materials
Velvet Lux from Utopia crafts (Amazon) I ball of black & 2 of orange. Each has 110m
100g Stylecraft special dk in lime green.
Oddments red, yellow, black & white
10g off white 4ply – I used Drops alpaca
5g orange & black
8 12-inch pipe cleaners
Toy stuffing
5.5mm, 3mm & 2.5mm double pointed needles
Tapestry needle
Everything is knit flat, so single pointed needles are fine too,
