Add candy or candles to these cute Boo!! Jars

Materials:

-Size 10 Cotton Crochet Thread in White and Black. Size 30 Extra Fine Cotton Crochet Thread (for spider web) or thick white sewing thread.

-Size 1.25mm steel crochet hook

-Ribbon (or plastic bag! see my notes)

-3 medium size mason jars, 8 1/2” around, 4” high (including lid)
needle to sew in ends

Stitches Used:
Ch=chain
Sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
Tr= triple (treble) crochet
sl st= slip stitch
picot=ch4, sl st in 4th ch from hook

You will be making 3 crochet motifs, that spell out the word “BOO”, using a filet crochet technique (looks like mesh, with an image inside). Then you will be decorating them with a spider web, spider, lace bow, and bat ears.
