You can find this pattern for free on my blog, or you can purchase an ad-free printable PDF version (including a text only version for easy printing)
This pattern will show you how to make a lovely and useful book basket, perfect for organizing or toting kid’s books or magazines.
I made mine with 2 colors of t-shirt yarn (WATG Jersey Be Good) and an N/P (10 mm) crochet hook. Gauge will vary with different t-shirt yarns, so if you find you can’t make gauge match or if you just want a different size basket, you can easily adjust the number of stitches in the pattern. The pattern is pretty forgiving.
You’ll also need a large tapestry needle for sewing on the handles and weaving in ends.
You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page. You may not copy this pattern, repost it anywhere (either altered or in its original form), or claim it as your own. You may not use any photos on this site for your own use.
