A very easy bookmark, really suitable for a beginner crocheter, and it is quick to make. The main crochet part is made from the basic stitches (slip stitch, chain, double crochet). We add a simple braid decorated with some beads to give length to the bookmark.
It is proposed here in warm color but it can be made in other colors, preferably well contrasted to highlight each circle made.
To avoid buying several whole balls, you can use skeins of embroidery thread of equivalent size (n°10).
The final step of “blocking” (moistening and stretching with needles) is important to obtain a more regular result.
