My daughter Jillian absolutely loves Tinker Bell and all of the Tinker Bell movies. One day she and I were watching Secret of the Wings and I was instantly inspired to design a sock after the scene where Tinker Bell is trying to read a passage from the Wing Book, but she can’t make out all the words because the bookworm has munched away at the pages.

“The bookworm gave her another guilty look. He had just started munching on a tasty paper snack. He slid away, taking the snack with him.”

My Bookworm sock has twisted stitches that inch their way up the leg leaving decorative holes where the bookworm has munched on his tasty snack. This pattern is fun, easy to knit and looks great when knit with both variegated and semi solid skeins. It uses twisted stitches, decorative faux cables, yarn overs, slipped stitches and a custom ribbing pattern to create the perfect everyday sock and has instructions for three different sizes. Adult Small (US 5-6), Adult Medium (US 7-8) and Adult Large (US 9-10)
