Boomerang Shawl
This is a fun shawl that is perfect for showing off the colors of your yarn. It is especially lovely when done in a color changing yarn.
The sample piece was made on the All In One loom using 106 pegs with 3/8” spacing. It used the entire skein (279 yards) of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable with no left overs. If you choose to make this using using a larger gauge loom, more pegs, or using ewrap techinque, you will need more yarn.
Because this shawl is knit on the bias, it “walks” around the loom. You will need a loom that can be knitted in the round. This will not work on a flat panel loom.
Knitting Loom Suggestions:
All In One Loom
Martha Stewart Weave and Loom Kit
28” Knitting Board with Extenders
other loom suitable for worsted weight yarn and a minimum of 90 - 100 pegs
