Boomerang Shawlette–Shawl

• Any weight yarn can be used.
• This is a perfect one-skein project for a shawlette size, or use two or more skeins for a larger shawl.
• Gauge is irrelevant for this pattern.
• This piece is worked side to side using asymmetrical triangle/boomerang shaping.
• The main body consists of a simple eyelet lace, while the border is done in a broken rib (hurdle) stitch.
Finished size of samples using one-skein each:
• DK: 40” wide by 22” deep at center (blocked)
• Fingering: 47” wide by 30” deep
Use a needle size that results in the fabric density you prefer. You may adjust the needle size for a tighter or looser drape. Samples were created with the following needle sizes:
• DK: Size 10 US (6 mm)
• Fingering: Size 6 US (4 mm)
