These work up so quickly, you can make several to match all your outfits. This is a great way to practice cabling and making bobbles if you’re new to either, and it also helps use up little leftovers, as you only need about 30 yds of chunky yarn (if using worsted weight with two strands, you’ll need 60 yds). You’ll also need a set of 10.5 US/6.5mm needles, a cable needle (I use a double pointed needle), and three buttons large enough to slip through your buttonhole snugly. I used leftovers from stash (this was a chunky acrylic). I’m not a super speedy knitter, and I completed two in an evening. Great if you need a fast gift!
