This is a pattern to make your own Bop Bear friend - such a sweet face for children or for your home. He is an amigurumi friend, worked entirely using double crochet stitches (US single crochet). I have included some pictures along the way to help you understand and follow along to have a happy crochet time.

He is a simple pattern to use your crochet skills, his legs and body and head are worked in one piece, with little arms, ears and muzzle sewn on afterwards. A satisfying little project!

I recommend a dk yarn and 3.5mm hook - Using the suggested gauge he is 20cm tall and 17cm around his tummy. I love Sirdar Sniggly DK as I really adore the colours. The colours I have used in the picture are shade 344 Oatmeal and 419 Choo Choo train. I love to always use my favourite pastel colours for my amigurumi friends but would love to see your colour experiments! He doesn’t take up a lot of yarn though so maybe he would be a good one to help you use up some of your old balls.
