Koigu Pencil Box “Aurora Borealis” was one of my favourite sets to have put together. I love how the “Fireworks” series of colours mixed with the vibrant neon’s create an explosion of contrasts.
The shawl is made up of triangles that are pickup along the edge to create squares.
The squares are then joined by crochet (or 3 needle join if you prefer), and finally a crochet edge to finish. As there is quite a bit of colour change, I wove in my ends as I was knitting.
This project would also look great with any other of the pencil boxes from Koigu.
