The colors and textures of this yarn are mesmerizing as the knit and purled stitches flow around the rounds of the Moebius.

This one is knit with a chunky yarn by Berroco named Borealis. (Any chunky yarn will work with this pattern that is 3 stitches per inch in garter stitch). It is approximately 44” in circumference and 8” wide. It can be worn many different ways. I intended it to also be a hoodie and cowl when draped over the head and wrapped.

Moebius knitting is a completely enjoyable form of knitting - one of my favorite things to do. It’s perfect for travel and “media” watching. The stitches travel in a spiral around a 47” long circular needle.

As each round is completed, the depth increases from the center out because of the nature of this ingenious cast-on, developed by Cat Bordhi. Please watch her video to learn this fabulous cast-on method. More information is available at her website catbordhi.com

Please enjoy this quick and fun pattern to make a cold weather warmer.
