This hat is a graphed out version of the famous wallpaper in a very popular BBC show. My fellow geeks will recognize it on sight. After the initial ribbing the hat is worked in knitted rounds for the color pattern. This pattern includes the hat concept and the chart for the color pattern. To shrink it down simply leave off a shape and the corresponding number of stitches when casting on.
