Christiansborg Castle located on The Royal Dockyard in the centre of Copenhagen, houses the Danish parliament, the Supreme Court and the Ministry of the State. An imposing building, which has burned down and has been rebuilt more than once. Some would call it the centre of power, but there is also a sense that this building belongs to the people. You can walk across the castle square to the riding ground and stables, you can eat in the restaurant located in the tower or just enjoy the view. The latest addition is a ring of large granite spheres placed around the perimeter of the castle square as a ward against terrorism – a beautiful addition that just had to form the pattern of the hem of this sweater.

Schloss Christiansborg, zentral in Kopenhagen auf der Insel Slotsholmen gelegen, beherbergt das Parlament, den Obersten Gerichtshof und das Staatsministerium. Auch wenn das Gebäude von Vielen als Machtzentrum verstanden wird, umgibt es doch auch ein Gefühl, dass es dem Volk gehöre. Man kann durch die Schlossgründe über die Reiterbahn an den Ställen vorbei spazieren, im Turmrestaurant essen oder einfach nur die Aussicht genießen. Neuerdings umfassen Granitblöcke den Schlossplatz als Sicherung gegen Terrorismus – eine schöne Ergänzung, die sich als Muster am unteren Rumpf des Pullovers wiederfindet.

Christiansborg slot beliggende på Slotsholmen midt i København er hjemsted for Folketinget, Højesteret og Statsministeriet. En imposant bygning, som er brændt ned og genopbygget mere end én gang. Nogle ville kalde det for magtens centrum, men her er også en atmosfære af, at bygningen tilhører folket. Man kan gå tværs igennem fra Slotspladsen til Ridebanen, man kan spise på restauranten i tårnet eller bare nyde udsigten. Senest har man lagt granitkugler som terrorsikring langs Slotspladsens kant – en smuk tilføjelse, som helt uundgåeligt måtte danne mønster nederst på denne bluse.
