This pattern is now available as part of the Handfasting Mittens set.

Boring Blue is a stashbuster mitten designed to use 50 g of worsted weight yarn as the main colour with 10 g each of two contrast colours.

Cast on just above the cuff and work to the tip. Then undo the provisional cast on and work the cuff’s stranded colourwork pattern.

Instructions are given for lining the mittens using about half a skein of Kid-Silk Haze. I do recommend lining them for extra warmth, but then again I live in Norway.
