Born Naked is a large semi-circular shawl featuring fluffy mohair and soft merino singles.
It features one-colour brioche (Section 1 : the birth of naked mohair), two-colour brioche (Section 2 : dressed in two-colour brioche), eyelets, short rows ( Section 3 : shorts and bare mohair) and a picot bind-off, to keep enthusiastic knitters entertained.

Colour A : mohair silk lace weight, 360m/394yds
Colour B : fingering weight, 320m/350yds
Colour C : fingering weight, 270m.295yds

Colour A is the mohair, which is “born naked” and gets to shine on its own in one-colour brioche sections.
Colour B is close to the mohair’s colourway. I recommend speckles or an eye-catching semi-solid for luscious short rows.
Colour C is the darker one , or a pop of bright colour ! Colour C eyelet-stripes give the shawl structure and underline the contrast between the different sections.

La couleur A en mohair naît dans le plus simple appareil (“born naked”) et peut exprimer toute sa douceur et sa légèreté dans les sections de côtes anglaises unies.
La couleur B est proche de celle du mohair. Je vous recommande une laine mouchetée ou un uni aux nuances subtiles pour des rangs raccourcis époustouflants !
La couleur C est plus sombre, ou très vive ! Les fines bandes d’oeillets marquent les transitions entre les différentes sections du châle et en soulignent ainsi la structure.
