Bossa Nova

Bossa Nova is a triangle shawl featuring a harmonic stripe rhythm in four colors using a simple slipped stitch colorwork technique that’s easy to memorize and follow. The slip sequence is constant throughout, but the stripe width follows a rotating pattern that gives balanced movement to the piece.
Yarn 5 skeins of Barker Wool Merinolux Aran. Approx 900 yards.
Color 1: Serenade, 1 skein
Color 2: Gentle, 2 skeins (Color 2 is also the border color.)
Color 3: Bougainvillea, 1 skein
Color 4: Clara, 1 skein
Finished Measurements approx. 67” wide x 31” deep.
Needles US size 10 (6.0 mm)
Gauge = 16 STS x 20 rows = 4” x 4” in pattern
