Boston Terrier Hat
This is a pattern for a basic beanie that includes a chart for a cute little Boston Terrier. It is knitted flat but could easily be knitted in the round and is great for a beginner because the Boston is symmetrical and the chart is easy to follow.
You will need 3 skeins of yarn- your main color, a black skein and a white skein (you will have lots left over)
The hat fits head sizes between 21”-23” and stretches nicely. I used size 7 needles and worsted weight yarn but you can really use whatever you have on hand just make sure you cast on 20 stitches and knit a 2x2 ribbed pattern for an inch high to see how many stitches you need to equal an inch. This is a written pattern that I tried to add a lot of information to for any beginner.
This Boston fits nicely on a hat but is small enough to be used on mittens for fingerless gloves.
If you are not a knitter I had a crocheter test the graph and it comes out nicely.
Hope you like this little guy, he’s super cute.
