These Fingerless Mitts made in DK/8 ply or light worsted yarn are a quick fun knit. They have an overall twisted stitch pattern overall except for a stocking stitch thumb panel for a spot of interest. They are knitted in the round either with Double Pointed Needles or magic loop.

The pattern is written for two adult sizes, with clear and simple instructions given for adjusting the length and width.
The mitts take between 60 - 100 grams of yarn depending on what type you use. Meterage is loosely 160 - 180.

Background:
The mitts are named after the variant of the fungus, botrytis, that my microbiologist mother Frances Dewey, discovered a few years ago. And pictured are her hands in the mitts along side grapes that she has grown.
