Something a little different, and personal, when gifting that bottle of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.

I have added suggestions to adjust the pattern for a longer body/neck for the bottle.

The pattern is fairly easy once you grasp the basics of the cable stitch, although I would recommend the pattern for at least an intermediate to advanced beginner.
