This is a pdf knitting pattern, written in English and using standard US terminology, for you to knit a worsted weight ‘Bottoms’ diaper cover in sizes newborn, 0 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months, 6-9 months and 9 months to one year.

This pattern is well-suited to an intermediate knitter. You must be familiar with knitting in the round. You will also need to know how to crochet a basic chain for the waistband tie. Alternately, you could knit an i-cord.

It requires worsted weight yarn on 5mm (US8) needles.

You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, SSK, knit two stitches together and execute the kitchener stitch.

My gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows is 10x10 cms (4”x4”).
