Thank you for your interest in this pattern.

This hat was inspired by the Celtic folk hero Boudica. She was the Iceni warrior Queen who reigned alongside her husband in the beginning of the Roman occupation of Britania - and subsequently backlashed against the Romans in 60 AD where she successfully battled alongside her army for a period of time before her eventual defeat. For many Boudica is the epitome of an empowered woman, an icon of strength and courage; and at times, revolution.

This hat requires only two yarns in sport weight.
Yarn A: 95 Yards (Natural Taupe)
Yarn B: 69 Yards (Denim Blue)
Though I used alpaca for this hat, most yarns you can obtain gauge with on US 5 needles should suffice.

Both charted and written instructions in English are provided, for those who may prefer one over the other. This project has really quick repeats which are simple to perform and is a very easy knit!
