Boudoir is a fine triangle shawl worked sideways. It features an all over slipped stitch texture which can be knitted in a variety of colour arrangements, using a minimum of 2 colours and up to many leftovers.
The shawl size is adjustable and the pattern instructions allow to use any amount of yarn. Pattern provides charted as well as written instructions for the texture.

Yarn :
The pattern provides instructions to use any amount of yarn. The amounts indicated below are for a small shawl as shown in the samples.

You will need 480 meters – 525 yards total of fingering weight yarn.
The texture pattern is worked with 3 colours : CA, CB and CC. They can be arranged in various ways. CA will form the slipped stitches, while CB and CC are the background stripes.

Option 1 (3 colours) :
160 meters – 175 yards each
Use the same 3 colours (CA, CB and CC) throughout.

3 colours (greens) sample : knitted with Filcolana Arwetta (210 m – 230 yds / 50 g) in 978 Oat, 147 Hunter Green and 148 Olive.

Option 2 (6 colours) :
80 meters – 88 yards each
Divide into 2 sets of 3 and switch at the center of shawl, using the first 3 colours for the first half (Section 1 and 2), and the 3 other for the second half (Section 3 and 4).

6 colours (pinks) sample : knitted with Schwedenrot Yarns Luxury Sock Mini (80 m – 88 yds / 20 g) in Winter Berries.

Option 3 (1 main colour + contrasts) :
160 meters – 175 yards of one main colour (CA)
A total of 320 meters – 350 yards of contrast colours
Use the same CA as one main colour throughout the shawl. For the contrasts (CB and CC)  use any desired number of colours, from just one to multiple leftovers.

Main colour (rust and cream) sample : knitted with John Arbon Textiles Devonia 4ply (388 m – 425 yds / 100 g) in Amber Blaze and Ivy Fiber Co Meadow (400 m – 437 yds / 100 g) in Sand.

Needles :
4 mm (US 6) needles
or size required to get gauge

Gauge :
26 sts x 33 rows per 10 cm – 4” in slipped stitch texture after blocking.
Note that a different gauge will affect size and yarn usage.

Boudoir est un châle triangulaire fin tricoté de pointe à pointe. Il est tout en texture de mailles glissées qui peuvent se tricoter dans divers arrangements de couleurs, avec 2 couleurs minimum et jusqu’à utiliser plusieurs restes.

Le patron contient des indications pour utiliser n’importe quelle quantité de fil. Les quantités indiquées ci-dessous sont pour un petit châle comme montré en prototype.

Vous aurez besoin de 480 mètres en tout de fil fingering.
Le motif texturé se tricote avec 3 couleurs : CA, CB et CC. Elles peuvent être agencées de différentes façons. CA formera les mailles glissées tandis que CB et CC seront les rayures en arrière plan.

Option 1 (3 couleurs) :
160 mètres chacune
Utilisez les 3 mêmes couleurs (CA, CB et CC) tout au long du projet.

Modèle 3 couleurs (verts) : tricoté en Filcolana Arwetta (210 m / 50 g) coloris 978 Oat, 147 Hunter Green et 148 Olive.

Option 2 (6 couleurs) :
80 mètres chacune
Divisez en 2 jeux de 3 et changez de jeu au centre du châle, en utilisant les 3 premières couleurs pour la première moitié (Section 1 et 2) et les 3 autres pour la deuxième moitié (Section 3 et 4).

Modèle 6 couleurs (roses) : tricoté en Schwedenrot Yarns Luxury Sock Mini (80 m / 20 g) coloris Winter Berries.

Option 3 (1 couleur principale + contrastants) :
160 mètres d’une couleur principale (CA)
320 mètres en tout pour les couleurs contrastantes
Utilisez la même CA en couleur principale tout au long du projet. Pour les contrastants (CB et CC), utilisez la quantité de couleurs voulue, une seule ou plusieurs restes.

Modèle avec 1 couleur principale (rouille et écru) : tricoté en John Arbon Textiles Devonia 4ply (388 m / 100 g) coloris Amber Blaze et Ivy Fiber Co Meadow (400 m / 100 g) coloris Sand.

Aiguilles :
aiguilles 4 mm
ou taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon

Échantillon :
26 m. x 33 rgs sur 10 cm en motif texturé après blocage.
Notez qu’un échantillon différent affectera la taille et le métrage nécessaire.
