Bougainville is a versatile scarf/shawl pattern that you can easily knit at any gauge and any size, using the yarn that suits you best! In fact, I knit the prototype in a sport-weight cotton yarn and I’ll be knitting my second shawl along with you in a lighter and larger version, using a fingering weight silk yarn and hoping for a more luscious result!
