The headband measures 32 ½ inches long and is tied together at the lower back of the head. You can make the headband shorter or longer as your measurements require.

White bougainvillea flowers, bracts and leaves embellish this tie-at-the-back headband. Optionally, the bougainvillea flower arrangement is detachable so that it can be used as corsage or hat/scarf pin. Attach to a hair-clip and add beads and feathers to make a fascinator.

Recommended for Intermediate Level crocheters.

Yarn:
Crochet cotton thread size 8.
(This project uses Monaco and Coats Manila Bay crochet cotton thread size 8)

Notions:
White hat veiling
Floss thread, nylon thread or threads of matching color as yarn
Sewing needle and Scissors

Optional (for detachable bougainvillea arrangement):
1.25mm Button
Corsage pin, pinback jewelry finding or safety pin

Hooks: Steel crochet hook size 6 (1mm)
