Construction and design elements
The cardigan is worked top-down and seamlessly.
The neck is shaped by a few short-rows (to make it deeper in front than in the back).
The upper-body is worked flat, and it’s shaped by raglan-increases.
Thereafter you work a great portion of the Bouquet de Fleurs-lace. It really reminds me of bunches of flowers!
The sleeves are worked in the round from underarms to bind-off.
The button-bands are worked from picked-up sts along the fronts.
The fit is classic, with a crew-neck and long sleeves (you may easily modify to work a short-sleeved version).

Materials
Yarn: I recommend a lace or fingering weight yarn, with great stitch-definition, that works up to gauge. I used the lace weight yarn ”Sunday” from Sandnes Garn, in the colourway 1015, to work the cardigan. This yarn comes in balls of 50 gr/1.76 oz, and 235 m/257 yards. Of this specific yarn you will need approximately: 230/275/325/350/400/475 m = 250/300/355/385/440/520 yards.
A different yarn than the sample may require more yardage.
Needles Size 3 mm/US2.5 Notions8 removable stitch-markers, waste yarn, blocking tools, 6/7/7/8/8/8 buttons 12 – 13 mm /0.5” across.

Gauge 28 sts and 38 - 40 rounds/rows in stockinette sts (and also the lace-pattern) = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”
