Bouquets On My Shoulders is a top with a simple shape, featuring the added embellishment of a pretty lace panel along the shoulders and short sleeves.
I used a wonderful summer blend of linen, cotton and rayon/viscose, held triple throughout as the yarn was thin. Alternatively, the top can be worked with one strand of approximately DK weight yarn. Note that the sleeve length varies depending on the size due to the length of the lace repeat. Instructions for lengthening the sleeves are included.

The top is worked from the top down, starting with the shoulder lace panels. Once they are worked, stitches are picked up along the side of the panels and stitches are cast on for the back neck. The back is worked flat, using short rows to shape the sloping shoulders. For the front, stitches are picked up and cast on as for back, on the other side of the shoulder panels. Short rows are worked for neckline shaping and shoulder slope. Once the upper front and back are finished, stitches are seamed along the bottom of the sleeve before joining the work in the round to knit the lower body. All edges are finished using an i-cord bind off or an applied i-cord.

Yarn used: Isager Yarn Trio 1 (50% linen, 30% cotton, 20% lyocell), 350 meters / 383 yards per 50g, 6-7-8-9-10-11 skeins. Colorway: “Green Tea”.
The yarn is held triple throughout.
Alternatively, you could use one strand of Trio 2 held together with one strand of Trio 1, or a different yarn with a meterage/yardage of approximate 230 meters / 252 yards per 100g (approximately DK weight). If substituting, look at the approximate meterage/yardage needed instead.
Note: If working longer sleeves than stated in the pattern, more yarn is needed.

Approximate meterage/yardage needed when yarn is held triple: 2055-2285-2790-3080-3395-3690 meters / 2245-2500-3050-3370-3715-4035 yards / 295-325-400-440-485-525 g.
If working with one strand of DK weight yarn, only a third of this meterage/yardage is needed:
Approximate meterage/yardage needed if using one strand: 685-760-930-1025-1130-1230 meters / 750-830-1015-1135-1235-1345 yards.
