This playful infinity scarf features three unique colors and three different textures. Bourne, named after the Bourne Bridge, was inspired by the springtime colors of Cape Cod’s beaches and my desire for a warm scarf on a cool morning.
MATERIALS, NOTES, & SKILLS:
- Size US7 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Waste yarn & crochet hook for provisional cast on
- Tapestry needle
Designed in YOTH Yarns Little Brother in Sea Salt, Thyme, and Avocado
760 yds fingering weight yarn for Color A
225 yds fingering weight yarn for Color B
165 yds fingering weight yarn for Color C
Gauge in garter, after blocking: 21 stitches and 33 rows = 4 in
Final measurements: 60in circumference
This pattern utilizes a provisional cast on. The scarf is worked flat and seamlessly joined by the Kitchener stitch. The first stitch of every row is slipped, and two fingering weight yarns are held double throughout.
