This pattern is for a baby girl’s dress with a bow pattern on the bodice and hem, worked in fairisle / stranded colour work. There is also a matching cardigan (144/T6/557).
The neck and armbands are worked separately in rib and stitched onto the body of the dress, stitch by stitch. Button / buttonhole bands are also worked separately for a 1 button closure at the back neck.
Yarn requirements are 2/3 balls of the main colour in Fil d’Ecosse plus one ball of contrast colour in Phildar Luxe.
Gauge for the fairisle pattern is 34 sts / 44 rows to 10 cms using 2.5mm needles.
