Stylish & comfortable cotton beanie/cloche hat! Perfect for fickle Fall or Spring weather, a bad hair day, or a lovely CHEMO HAT donation!

It is very easy to knit, with directions that are clear and well written.

To knit a smaller size, (for a child), just CO fewer stitches in the brim (about 112- but be sure to catch up to the 144 sts. needed for the body of the hat!). Here is the link to Kim Fluck’s child size version: link text

Cascade Fixation in the brim gives the hat a lot of elasticity, while the Cascade Ultra Pima in the body of the hat is very soft to the touch.

If you use a yarn other than the pattern calls for, then adjust needle size accordingly!
