This Bow Tie Headband is designed to fit any age and size from newborn to adult. A chart is included to give you approximate sizing by age and instructions on how to make the headband when you have the exact head measurements.

Initially this headband was made for bulky (5 or 6) yarn, but the pattern is written in a way where you can use any size yarn, or two strands of yarn and any hook to make the headband more your style.

This pattern is easy to follow and provides links to instructions for the more advanced stitches. In order to complete this project you will need to know or learn double crochet, slip stitch, alternate double crochet, and foundation double crochet.
