Materials:
Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply, 85% British Bluefaced Leicester wool/15% mulberry silk, 50g/200m/218yds
Shade: Night Sky x 1 ball
2.5mm and 3mm hooks
Yarn needle
Bow tie clasp hardware

Yarn Alternatives:
You can use any 4ply weight yarn of a similar yardage for this design. A yarn that does not have a lot of stretch will give the best result, especially for the strap. The whole bow tie uses 22 g. To use a special mini skein, you could use an alternative yarn for the strap to ensure that you have enough yarn, or stashbust using as many colors as you like.

Tension: Exact tension is not crucial for this project, but be sure to work quite tightly.

Measurements:
One size, adjustable to fit most teens/adults. After assembly, bow tie measures approximately 6” x 3 1/4”.
