Box In a Bow Shawl
Box In a Bow looks very intricate, but once you get the sequence of the 3 primary rows to create the look, you’d be surprised how fast this works up. The edge is a series of DC and CH sequences, then the last row gives it a little decorative touch with a tiny picot.
I loved the look with the Lustre Sheen, which is very silky feeling. Would make a great prayer shawl if worked in heavier yarn with a larger hook.
The yardage is considerable as it is sport weight, taking a little over 13 skeins at 335 yds per skein. This pattern uses an F/3.75 mm crochet hook.
The width is 21”, length is 54” without the fringe, and 72” with fringe.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about the pattern - it is an intermediate level.
Thanks for your purchase!
Enjoy.
