GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS!

Many thanks to all who have asked to be notified when I have updated and released the pattern.

THE BAD NEWS:

The release of this patten has been postponed.

THE GOOD NEWS:

I have been working on a book. It is being published by Soho Publishing/Sixth & Spring and will be released Fall 2016.

I hope you will understand the deadlines I face for the book are the priority and this pattern may not see the light of day again until December or January.

This pattern is no longer available through Skacel.
I expect to release an updated and reformatted pattern. Please leave a comment if you would like to be notified.

Designed by Tracy Purtscher for The Fiber Factor contest!

DESIGNER’S NOTES
1) Garment is knit in one piece from the bottom Front hem up and over the shoulders to the Back hem. The Neck stitches are initially worked with waste yarn, and then later picked up and worked in the round on a smaller needle. Small cuffs are added to the sleeve edges after the seams are sewn.

2) The Back is approx. 2” longer than the Front. Side seams are sewn leaving a 2” side vent bordered with Garter Stitch.

3) Slip the first stitch of each row to aid in seaming.

4) Size S is shown on the cover of the pattern, worn by a size 6 model. Sizing for this boxy sweater is extremely generous, and though sizes S and M look the same in circumference at the bust, the length in both body and sleeves is greater for the M size.
