So, no need to think outside the box, just use knit and purls in way that’s relaxing to knit, but produces a lovely texture and you’ll be “boxing clever”.

Originally designed for Malabrigo Mecha, but I’ve also included stitch counts for DK and aran weights.

You can also hold two different DK weights together to make a unique and interesting fabric, but then you’ll need to double the required yardage.
