I started boxing in late 2015. By March 2017, the university school year was ending and I wanted to say “thank you” to my coaches and friends. What better way to do so than knitting a pair of toy gloves?

After scouring the Internet, I couldn’t find a knitting pattern for toy boxing gloves. That’s when I decided to make one. I looked up some Everlast gloves and modelled my knits after them.

I made a pair for each of my trainers and two of my other friends whom I met through boxing. They were ecstatic. I hope that you will enjoy using this pattern as much I had fun with this design.
