Pattern has instructions for both a cowl and a scarf

Cowl can be knit in the round (as shown) or flat as a scarf
If you prefer to knit flat but want a cowl you can follow the scarf pattern and sew the ends together when you are finished.

Kit makes either one scarf or one cowl. Additional yarn can be ordered separately. Pictured is the Cowl and shown in some of the many ways it can be worn
