This hat is so adorable and easy to knit for a boy or girl. Sizes 2-5. Sample was knit with Artyarns Ultrabulky merino but any chunky weight yarn will work.

Materials:

110 yards of chunky weight yarn. Gauges at 3.5sts per inch
50 yards of contrasting color for trim.
5 assorted buttons
#10 and 10.5 needle
