This pattern creates a reversible design using characters that are asymmetrical, so it’s a little trickier than typical Double-Knitting which usually uses symmetrical images that automatically reverse. In those cases you follow one chart alternating the colors. With this, each side of the DK work has its own color pattern so there are two charts to follow simultaneously.

As far as yarn requirements, I created both headbands using a total of one skein of each color.
