Classic beanie for wintery days. Although this is called a boyfriend beanie - it is very unisex - consider it in the same vein as the boyfriend jean!

This pattern was originally designed for Debbie Bliss’ ‘cashmerino’ (which has since been discontinued. I’ve recently knitted this in Sublime’s Cashmere Merino Silk DK. No changes to the pattern at all. You can knit this in a wide variety of yarns just aiming for a gauge of 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10 cm in Stocking Stitch using 4mm needles.

To knit this pattern you will need to understand the basics of knitting in the round and using a cable needle.
